1503 Earns Silver at GTR! GM-St.Catharines'
Spartonics
wins silver at the Greater Toronto Regional competition in Mississauga.
Spartonics, along with teams #247 and 1507 were very optimistic
about earning silver, considering the excellent competition coming
from the alliance of teams 1114, 2056 and 2166 who earned gold.
Spartonics members felt as though they had met many goals by the
end of the competition. Of the 67 teams at the event, Spartonics
felt as though all of the teams they had faced were highly competitive,
making what Spartonics felt a "tough" competition. 1503
would like to thank all mentors, teachers, and parents for helping
with the event. They would also like to thank teams 1507 and 247
for their effort in the participation of the final matches.

1503 braves snow storm to compete at Finger Lakes Regional:
GM-St.Catharines' Spartonics invaded the Rochester Institute of
Technology during the span of March 6th-8th. Spartonics
experienced some troubleshooting at first, but persevered in order
to stay competitive throughout the competition.
Spartonics would like to thank RIT and FIRST for organizing such
a great event. Members of Spartonics felt completely welcomed
as the only Canadian team attending the event, especially while
attending the "team social".
